This is the very popular ribbon studio microphone that
RCA introduced in the 1940s. Several different colored
models were produced.  This model, because of its non-
reflective service, was used, primarily, in early television.
 

This microphone came from a sound recording studio in
Huston Texas where, it is said, that the Rolling-Stones
once recorded.
